Eat your way to healthy skin, hair and nails!

‘You are what you eat’ definitely rings true when it comes to healthy skin, hair and nails. We’ve pulled together some handy tips to help you nourish your body from the inside out.




Now, if you’re anything like us, you may struggle to reach the recommended 8 glasses of water a day. We’ve started adding a couple of slices of lemon and lime to make it a bit more interesting and appealing. Also, why not add your favourite non-sugar diluting juice and you’re good to go. Remember, herbal tea counts too!


Vitamin C


Known as a super antioxidant, vitamin c is essential to keep your body healthy and strong. The best sources come from citrus fruits, berries, green veg and sweet potatoes (Not the fried chip variety, sorry!) Vitamin C strengthens your skin, connective tissue, bones and blood vessel all adding to the integrity of your nails. If there’s any excuse to indulge in some strawberries and cream, then this is it! 


Go Nuts!


Whether you like nibbling on cashews or munching on brazils - every nut has a host of healthy fats, nutrients and vitamins to nourish your skin, hair and nails. Nuts contain omega-3 essential fatty acids, which keep you feeling full but also encourage the body to repair itself.  Pass the macadamias!



Don’t be afraid of fats


Healthy fats from avocados, fish, nuts and seeds provide your body with Vitamin E. Vitamin E supports healthy skin and nail growth.  Perfect and delicious preparation for your next Hepburns No-Chip manicure!
